Titans injury report for Wednesday

    Titans right tackle David Stewart was limited in practice on Wednesday because of a calf injury.

    Stewart, who broke his leg last year, played in the last three preseason games.

    “Hopefully, he’ll be fine,” coach Mike Munchak said.

    Mike Otto would start if Stewart is unable to play.

    Linebacker Akeem Ayers (ankle) was limited Wednesday, but is expected to play. Fullback Quinn Johnson (quad) is listed on the injury report, but he practiced. Linebacker Zaviar Gooden (ankle) is out.

    re Stewart: the "Hopefully he'll be fine" part is kindof a strange way to say it. Makes me wonder if they think it's something more than they're letting on.

    Stewart will play, that guys an animal.

    Im more concerned about Ayers, unlike every other position, we dont have great depth at OLB.

    McCarthy posted something about getting his nails done last year, and Hasselbeck's response was "and you're suppose to be a LB?"

    Hahhahhhhaaaha ahh Matty... the dude was pretty funny in a 'nonchalant' type way...

    a video came out of him in camp with the Colts, something about a jersey number, it was also pretty funny... 'and your supposed to be a LB' hahahha good humor right there...
