According to the numbers, he was one of the top qbs during his streak. Maybe not in passing yards, but in efficiency and qb ratings.

Look back at 2019-2020. He was easily in the top 10 those two years. He was named comeback player of the year and selected to the pro bowl during that stretch.

I wasn’t saying that he “is” a top 5-10 QB. But to say he wasn’t at least in the top 10 during that 2 year stretch would not be accurate.

His slid to the bottom coincidentally started exactly when Downing took over. With the right pieces Tanny is the best option we have for now. I say let’s build the rest of team around him but immediately start looking for his future replacement.
