yeah the team needs to be in a position were only 1 or 2 players need replacing at the end of each season rather than the current situation were the team is lacking in multiple positions as its shown the past couple of seasons its not easy to get out of that rut. Yeah you can draft FA which we need especially with experience but are the titans able to attract the half decent ones.

I mean... Yeah. We can't make a playoff contender "year after year" in two seasons. That just isn't possible mathematically.

But the best teams year after year in the league aren't like that because they followed some 10 year plan way back when. It's simple. They have people at every level of their organization that are very good at their job.

If we get people like that here, winning will start quickly and will sustain itself immediately.

That's why I think the term "rebuilding" is dumb in any sport with a salary cap.

If you are "rebuilding" for more than a year, you aren't rebuilding. You just suck.

I just don't understand why all these other "Lesser wanted" teams are "closing in" on the top HCs of the league like the Niners and Browns, while we are probably the #1 Best coaching spots available and we haven't heard anything about them coming here. And the best we've heard are: Extending Mularkey, some random DC from the Lions, and Doug Marrone?

No need to panic. There are options available I'm not trippin just because we've not been linked to anyone yet. Underwood and Co. are taking the right approach.

@RapSheet: The #Browns announced they completed their second interview with Hue Jackson. That's where Jimmy Haslam was. Also means deal isn't done yet

Relax people. I know the reasoning here is that the "early bird gets the worm" but what about the old adage "measure twice, cut once"? A lot of you are saying we should have gone after Gase right away and "Now he'll get first crack at assistant coaches!". Well you know what, he did get first crack at assistants, and has now hired a dreadful WR coach from the Titans (the only guy we allowed people to interview, mind you) and an even worse OL coach from the 49ers. A team that gave up 53 sacks, second worst in the league!

Great work youre doing Gase. Real crack squad you're putting together there. Glad we waited.
