Titans agree to terms with Matt Cassell

Yep that's him...couldn't think of it for nothing.

 

the sad part is that Titan fans are surprised when the team makes sensible moves to improve. Just show how inept the FO has been for a decade

 

One thing no one's mentioned.. Robinson was in NE the entire time Cassell was. We all know Cassell isn't a good QB, but perhaps Robinson knows good things about him as a teammate, locker room guy, and backup Qb.

 

We could easily do better than this. Cassell was absolutely terrible for the Cowboys last year.

I normally don't fume over a backup QB, because I feel like once your starting QB goes down, it's rough sailing.

But we can't go into next year with Cassell or Mett as our backup.

 

Remember last year when we thought we had the best backup in the league with Mett?

 

Wasn't he there like three weeks before starting? It's unreasonable to expect anything from a QB in that situation.

Didn't stop Josh ****ing Freeman from beating Mett in week 17 though.

I think this is just a testament to the lack of QB depth in the league. The days of having a Neil O'Donnell waiting in the wings are over. The Neil O'Donnell of late 90s would be starting somewhere this year.

 

Not a bad or good signing. Just a vet qb to help mentor our young qbs.
