Titans agree to terms with LB Wesley Woodyard

Hey guy's, just wanted to give a Broncos fan point of view.

Very high character and leader in the community. Top human being, very good leadership.

He was a very good OLB in 2012 and played at a high level, but at the start of the season got beat out by one of our young emerging stars, Danny Trevathan.

We tried playing him at MLB but this was an epic fail and he struggled badly before getting benched.

His strengths are - pretty good speed and range, pretty good in coverage, solid tackler.

Weaknesses - Cannot get through trash or off blocks... hence the fail playing inside.

It seems strange to us Bronco fans that he might play ILB in a 3-4, due to the reason I mentioned. He could just get bullied inside like he did for us.

Overall I think you made a good signing.

He's definitely one of the youngest and the fastest. Doesn't change the fact that guy had a "me" reputation at UNC and then pulled the same crap last season.

He won me over during his rookie year after I was pissed that we passed on David to draft him. Then he lost me just as quickly. It wasn't his decline in play, it was him bitching about being benched and then saying he didn't know why. Don't you think the first thing a guy does when he's benched is tries to figure out why? His whole situation last year made no sense.

 

When he pulled that "I don't know" crap he reminded me of how some of my students get detention "for no reason" and how they're never "doing anything wrong". Cracks me up every time.
