Titans agree to terms with DL Al Woods

There are worse DLs than ours... Like the Cowboys. But it's still a big weakness IMO. No standouts outside of Casey and we don't know how he'll fit in this new system.

 

I am not sold that this is a mediocre bunch as a 3-4. Woods is supposed to be an above average run stuffer. I think Casey will excel as a 3-4 end. Morgan and the rest should provide what we need in a 3-4 scheme. Is it Leonard Marshall and Jim Burt? May just be. As another poster said it depends on what we do at LB at this point. It was not Leonard Marshall and Jim Burt that made that scheme great, it was Carl Banks, Harry Carson and Lawrence Taylor.

 

Shaun Smith had to be the worst signing, ever.

 

Chris Johnsons extension was the worst ever.

 

and the worst load of bull the team ever tried to sell us was that commander cody could really replace warren.

ThatTitansGuy I think that remains to be seen based on how we use him and how many touches he gets.

 

I got high hopes for mccluster. I am not certain we have ever had someone in that mold who can impact the game from the slot, the backfield and special teams the way he does.

 

No way we over paid for McCluster?! Have you seen the numbers? It's almost all incentive based. His base pay against the salary is not over 2 million any year. That's very good.

 

Good find. I like it more than I did prior to that knowledge.
