    The team and his teammates have spoken about his leadership many times.

    Mariota does it on the field, not in front of a mic.

    Too bad his play has sucked the past couple years or this wouldnt even be a discussion. If Mariota was performing, now one would care about what hes saying in interviews.

    All that really matters is performance on the field. If he plays well, he can talk all the **** or be as quiet as a mouse. I wouldn't care. Most of us wouldnt.

    In the end, all any fans want is athletes that perform at a high level.
