    Why not? He's been around for a few weeks, hopefully learning the play book. Could he really be worse than Gabby? Plus, he will be on the sideline with a clipboard for a week or 2...no big deal.

    Unless they are canning Gabby for good, literally anybody can be the back up for a game or 2.

    I'd rather run the WC with experienced players (emergency qb) than use a rookie from the PS, if we don't sign a veteran backup.

    Our Safety had more passing yards than Gabbart going in to the 4th quarter last week.

    My point was, as a back up that's sits on the bench, anyone can do that.

    And in most cases, if the back up has to play the games practically over anyway.
