I was thinking this this morning actually. Matthews is playing great, Sharp is coming along and Wright has looked good since returning. Not sure if he resigns Wright, so that would be the spot should a new guy be added. But say you resign him, you have draft capital to really transform the defense.

I'd love to have a top flight WR, but the group is playing pretty well currently. It'll be interesting to see what route JR goes in the off-season.

Great game yesterday though, can't remember the last time I watched something like that. 08/09 probably.

I haven't called anyone stupid. When people start all the "we need this and we need that" I ask them to back up their statement. I am always prepared to do that. I just personally believe that on offense we are just fine right now and sick of hearing this #1 receiver talk. Now defense, another story. We are not going far in the playoffs (if we even get there) with the D that we have. I am being realistic, just like Riverman. When I say Rah I am referring to people getting all ga ga over a win, then the next week when we lose the sky is falling. We are getting better, but let's try to stay grounded.

    I agree about staying grounded.

It's hard to deny that we're improving, though. I'd be willing to say that by season's end, nobody will look forward to playing us for an easy win. Too many of our opponents lose starters for the next week.

We're not playoff ready yet, our defense needs too much improvement, but we can definitely play the role of "Spoiler".

That suits me just fine after the last several years.

My man Warren Moon was on the ESPN pregame and Chris Berman did a highlight reel of the old Run & Shoot offense. It was awesome except when they covered the 90-93 teams and how close they got without bringing down a trophy. Moon even agreed that Mariota looks like the type that will be around for 10-12 years.

    Titans getting 2 "C'mon Mans"
Anybody at the game watch Blake point the wrong way on the muffed GB fumble? Basically trying to convince the refs that GB recovered the ball.

Then during the fight outside the endzone, a fan was taking a photo of himself with the fight going on directly behind him.

The Blake thing was hilarious. Very fitting situation for him to be so pointing in the wrong direction so confidently. Only Blake.....

They're playing well but the problem in the future will be when we play teams with dominant corners and we won't get anywhere near the separation. Elite players like Julio, green and brown can't be stopped from getting open but our receivers would be shut down. I like how Matthews has emerged as our #1 he's been so reliable these last 6 weeks.

So Rodgers had 2ints and a fumble this game. He has been in the league for how many years? 12....Mariota better fix his issue or he could end up like that guy.

A big game to tell how good our offense has gotten will be against Denver's D and KC's D. Houston has a good D too, but as a division rival, I kind of toss that one out.
