Post-Game Thread Titans 17-Colts 19

7/14 defensive 3rd down conversion (all across the D)
Stopping the carries to a guy with a 5+ ypc avg (King Arthur)
Constant pressure on the QB including 4 sacks (OL/MM/Any additional blockers)
5 penalties for 75 yards (1 for 46) (Adoree)

I’d say there’s more blame to go around than your usual scapegoat.
Mariota sucked, no doubt, but you are overlooking a lot of missed tackles which led to a good conversion rate for Indy today which led to points.

MVP Kern also didn’t punt like MVP Kern.

An adjustment that should have happened was containment on Brissett since the pass rush couldn’t take him down.
But Arthur definately should have fed Henry more.

 

Mariota is an awsome guy but it's over I know we screw him over with all the coaches however he just keeps getting worst.

Time to move on.

Blaming the coaches on the rookie **** Mariota pulls is bad. I didn't like every call but come on. Marcus just stands there and holds the ball. Zero awareness and zero aggressiveness. I don't mind a pick or two if you're trying to push it down the field.

 

Lots pissed about the spike but that didn’t bother me. The poor throw on 4th down looked rushed but the clock was stopped and 15 seconds was more than enough time to hit a slant and spike again for a FG attempt.

 

It’s like the Vols and not being able to beat Florida forever! Titans have the same problem with Indy it’s like they’re scared of them or something even when the Titans are clearly the better team they find a way to lose!

 

I see the overreactions are in full effect.

 

This game was everything that we knew it would be ... Total let down.
We had a chance to take the div.by the throat ... Instead they made a conscious decision to prove that this team should not be taken seriously.
