I suppose under Shawn Jefferson he hasn't been arrested.

    That's something.

So had we signed Drew Brees before the the 2006 draft instead of developing a so called Qb of our own?

What else have we done but that? All the vets we have signed from Neil O'donnell on were brought in to backup the franchise QB.

Again that is all we have done, use a high pick and groom that guy to be the main guy.We have never done anything different! Stop acting like we have!

Just that in the case of VY and Locker things didn't work out the way we wanted. Vy acted like an idiot and Locker keeps getting hurt.

Again geniuses;;;;;;;;;; Neil O'donnell, Kerry Collins, Matt Hasselbeck and Fitzpatrick were never brought in to be the franchise QB. They were brought in for experienced depth only.

The original premise of this thread is false!

It was years ago when the Titans did this. Check out the Titans draft history for the year.

Throwing picks at one position just hoping something sticks is lazy drafting, IMO, when there are needs across the field.

Oh definitely, that I didn't argue.

With regards to that, I always thought a team shouldn't draft more than 2 players from the same position in the same year.
