Time to part ways with Griffin

Heard that too., Seemed like a great guy, just wish he would play better.

 

I miss Vinny Fuller. We should sign him to play safety.

 

me too man, i never understood why they let him go. he is a FA btw, so if he kept in shape, I think he's definitely worth a look. i mean i do remember why we let him go, at the time we had Finny/Mac/ATV who were all playing coverage really well, so he wanted to move on somewhere where he mighta had a chance to play more / start.

also, if not safety, he played inside very well; he'd be a good backup for ATV in that slot position since I distinctively remember him playing well there.

not only was he pretty good at coverage (i remember some of his pick 6's in the flat when playing against the slot WR), he wasn't a bad tackler either and right now thats what I am interested in.
