I thought I’d list what I trust and don’t about this team going into the playoffs. The big one: I don’t trust our Kicking game (and especially) Randy Bullock to make a pressure kick to win the game. I almost trust the opposite that Randy Bullock (or whoever) is what’s going to bounce the Titans from the playoffs. Randy is a serviceable kicker when there is no pressure on him, but if there is 3 seconds left in the game and the Titans are down by 2, and Bullock has a 45 yard kick to win the game, we are going to get bounced. Also, I do believe in our defense as a whole to play with any team and keep the game close. I also believe that Tannehill will give us a chance to win at any time in the game and in any game. If there is less than a minute to go and 3rd and 12, I think Tannehill will somehow get it done. I don’t believe that the Titans have a good enough offense to comfortably win games but do have a good enough qb and defense to be able to win a game despite that in the playoffs against any team in the league. These kinds of teams usually do well in the playoffs as long as they have an ice-water kicker (which the titans don’t have). I believe that other than finding a good kicker, I trust that Vrabel will make the right decisions to win a game. That he can get a team to the superbowl. His kryptonite seems to be finding a good kicker. I don’t believe Derrick Henry is enough. That the titans to advance in the playoffs they are going to need a game plan that involves a lot of leaning on Tannehill to get it done. And finally I do believe that the Titans have an outside shot to get to the Super Bowl. With the defense and qb and running back the Titans have, they are going to be a team nobody wants to play.
