    And the Vikes are heading to Detroit, would hurt even more to see the playoffs start slipping away to the winless Lion. :grrhee:

    Actually I just heard on NFL Network that one of the Williams's (?) lawyers is going to appeal the decision allowing him to play for the remainder of the year. I am not sure of both but one definitely. Similar to Matt Jones being busted with coke and being allowed to play the entire year.:suspect:

    I think it blows big holes in Goodell's reputation as a "get tough" leader of the league.

    I mean, I guess Goodell needed his mug shot to look like he had been diving headfirst into a pile of powdered donuts before he took any action on this one??

    I'm actually hoping the Matt Jones debacle doesn't get resolved by the end of this season. The Jags are a threat to no-one this year even if they win out, and I'd love to see it backfire on the Jags and have his suspension carry over to next season.
