The Titans are in....

I know these last couple posts have been looking forward to the draft, but what are we going after 1st round?
To me it's gotta be a pass rusher but I'd be ok with another CB. The only Offensive position I would not be pissed about taking first round would be C.

 

We might be in need of a new Guard. None of our Guards are playing well this year so if either walks, so what.

I do tend to think the line wants to stay together but its out of their control. The panthers Andrew Norwell is probably going to cost some real $$$ but if we want an instant fix up front we could look his way.

Other than losing our Guards the only other real need is ILB. Williamson is set to leave and hes not all that great to have to keep, look at the beefier of the ILB's in the draft like T.J. Edwards for his replacement.

 

The interior O line isn't great, but it's not bad enough to deem an immediate necessary. They were great in pass protection, the scheme is just stale and predictable, with RBs who can't gain crap without a clear opening. The offense can't gain yards through the air or the ground, it's clearly a scheme issue.

 

Id agree with all of that. But even before this year Kline was kind of trash. Guard could easily be an area of need.

 

No guards first round. I'm ok with anything 2nd round and beyond but the first round should address whatever the biggest need is.

I know we also have FA money but I'd like to see that spent on contract extensions for players we already have.

Need a SS replacement too. Cyprien isn't good. Agree with ILB (I wanted Foster) and still a fierce pass rusher.
