    You guys remember when the Vince Young-led Titans played New England in week 17 when New England didn't have anything to play for? Everyone was furious New England didn't sit their starters and the Titans lost, missing out on the playoffs.

    History repeats itself.

    I hear you but this is how the chips fell. Take it run and see what happens. 10 other teams would love to have a tix punched potentially so maybe we get lucky and make some noise.

    As I've already said... back in 2011 The Bears "allowed" the Packers into the post season, Bears already won the division so who cares if Green Bay won?

    Guess who won it all that year? Insult to injury... Packers defeated the Bears in the NFC championship game, also.

    Would be really cool if we beat them 3 times just like the 99 season.

    I feel like this is the only scenario that would be worth the pain and misery of this awful season.

    That was also the year they were suspected of stealing defensive signals. I remember Bulluck getting muzzled by the league when it called them out for it in the post game presser.
