    ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Sunday morning that Browns OLB Paul Kruger is on the trade block.

    29-year-old Kruger has base salaries of $7 million this year and $6.5 million next season. He registered 11 sacks last year, but has dipped to 0.5 through seven games this season. Kruger still has value as a capable pass rusher who can set the edge in run defense, but his base salaries are cumbersome. The NFL trade deadline is coming next week. The Browns are also willing to deal LT Joe Thomas and C Alex Mack.

    I'm seeing the rumor on the OL but not Kruger.

    Thomas is 30. Unless he's willing to flip to RT, I don't see the appeal. Mack would be a nice addition.

    That organization is clueless... They're not the type of team that can get rid of some of their good players and rebuild. They'll just get worse.
