Montgomery got hit with ice this morning and freezing temps.

I woke up to freezing rain which sucks. Overpasses and anything concrete was ice by noon. The blacktops started icing over a couple hours ago.

People here just don't get it.

People have stranded themselves everywhere.

Emergency services are working overtime.

I walked out of Walmart before they closed and busted my ass. They didn't even have sense to salt their own sidewalks and doorways.

Birmingham mayor just took to the radio across the state and said that many highways are gridlocked in Bham.

911 and BPD will not be able to respond to anymore calls and for people stuck in their vehicles should abandon them and get to a business or home that is open.

Apparently 280 in Birmingham is a parking lot of abandoned vehicles.

It looks like something out of the Walking Dead on the news.

Rows of vehicles, people just walking home.

So basically if you have an emergency in Birmingham tonight you are chit out of luck.

Lol what a disaster.


The governor shutdown Montgomery. Interstates are closed.

 

The Montgomery Zoo has reportedly randomly caught fire.

Multiple animal deaths reported.

If I stop responding and Alabama goes dark just know I mildly find some of you amusing, that's about it.
