    i've never understood the infatuation with schaub. maybe it works out for the texans, but i doubt it.

    Chances are you're more likely to land a Cody Carlson than a Mark Brunell. But giving up a second round pick for someone elses back-up seems about standard operating procedure for the Texans. Personally I'd be more inclined to give Joey Harrington a shot, you could pick him up for pocket change.

    What, no one is banging down the Chargers door to land Little Billy Volek?

    He had a strand of 4 games where he threw for more yards than almost any other qb to ever play the game. With scrub wide receivers and a "crappy line" according to McNair appologists at the time.
    And when you lose games while putting up 30 points, odds are that quarterback wasn't the problem. :) just a guess.

    i dont remember anyone calling those WR scrubs. that was easily the best group of WRs the titans have had since they came to nashville.

    And Billy has really done big things in SD. Did he ever manage to beat out Whitehurst for the second string job? I mean beating out a rookie for the back-up job, that'd be some real resume padding material.
