Texans/Seahawks make a trade

Boo-yeah on Bipolar laying the smackdown! Protect our buddy Overalls, years of the Texans o-line makes him appreciate good protection, after all. (what in hell's bells am I on about here...)

I don't really see many Seahawks games or follow their players, but I was under the impression he was a pretty big bust at safety without much hope of improving? (didn't they shift him to LB at one point? Or was it the other way around?) Hoping some of Dunta's talent rubs off on him, eh?

 

He was a linebacker in college at Florida State, then converted to safety when he got in the pros.

 

Texans should have just signed Lamont.

 

actually, that would have been a real good move. Lamont leaves alot to be desired but he's not completely worthless either.

As far as the trade goes, it is puzzling. Why not just sign one of the veteran safeties available through free agency? Another blunder move by the texans.
