You're forgetting to leave 5-8 mil for replacement players if anyone gets injured during the season.

Nobody replied about John Abraham being a monster. Hes a monster when hes healthy. I know hes old but hes still been productive. Even with his injuries his sack totals are still high.

No one is responding because he's TOO OLD.

We may have only missed the playoffs by a game, but we're clearly in a rebuilding process. Why would we sign a guy who will play for one more season?

And why did you copy and paste the same exact Abraham post into two different threads?

If the Titans can't pay him, then who can? Don't we have the second most cap space available? Just asking.

I think there is a real good chance that the Titans sign Williams.

    1. We have the cap space
    2. He comes from a division rival
    3. He is the best available DE
    4. There is no sure fire DE available in the draft
    5. Signing him and drafting a DT in the first round of the draft will improve our D-Line for sure.
    6. Bud Adams eventually has to open his pocket books if he wants a SB. He has to be in "win now" mode.

Makes total sense which is probably why we won't do it.

I would still consider going DE in the 1st even if we sign Mario. I think the DT class is very solid and we could still pick up an impact DT in the 2nd. I really like Mike Martin a bunch and think him and Casey would make a great inside duo. Both of them are short fireplugs that have better short area quickness than you think.
