Texans not tagging Mario Williams

I won't be disappointed if Abraham winds up here provided we get him cheap. 34 is a risky age to invest cap space.

 

Short term Abraham might be ok, but I would rather pay Mario 14mil a yr than pay Abraham 8mil a yr. At least with Mario you know that you are set at one DE spot for several yrs.

If you sign Abraham and he hits the wall and Morgan doesn't turn the corner then next offseason you are looking for another set of DEs.

I feel like with Abraham we would still be forced to draft DE in the 1st rnd, while if we got Mario then we wouldn't be forced to take one.

 

We can get by this year a guard,corner,safety,and LB.There will be no Marios available next year and if the texans had the cap space he wouldn't be a F.A this year

 

I wouldn't pay him 10 million + though.

I'd rather keep Jones and draft a DE
