Texans Could Be Going For QB Garoppolo

    On Friday, if the Texans once again can’t get a deal done, they are likely to pick a quarterback. The current buzz in league circles centers on Eastern Illinois quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.

    I hope it's Savage, McCarron, Mettenberger, or any other scrub. I wouldn't panic if they got JG.

    The smart pick would be Carr, but I just don't see them doing it. The name has too much baggage with it. And Texans fans are psychotic morons.

    We are in a terrible position for a QB. Texans, Raiders, Buccs all pick ahead of us and the top guys left are Jimmy G., Carr, and Mettenberger. I do not want us taking the 6th best QB in the draft I hope Carr or Jimmy someone find their way to us.

    That leaves Carr but the Raiders are the QB needy team standing in our way of our drafting him at QB.If we do want Carr they will most likely have to trade up to get him.

    Apparently Carr is the #1 rated Qb on the Raiders' board. He's not gonna fall to us.

    Best QB left is Carr. Also my top rated QB in this class. But he won't be there. Next up on my list is Brett Smith.



    Unfortunately, he is a pretty mobile guy. Highest 40 time among QBs. I don't think that is Whisenhunts kind of guy.
