    Texans Depth Chart:

Ahman Green - injury prone, and sucky
Chris Taylor - whoever this guy is
Steve Slaton - hasnt been the same since injured.

Saying that CB wasn't a loss is uh...well, not true. Of those 4, he was the only one that'd be a threat to do anything if healthy.

What ever gloat. Saying that a healthy Brown is better than a healthy Green is like saying if Paul Williams could run routs and catch he would be as good as Andre Johnson. Just because you have an opinion doesn't make it a fact.

You have got to admit if Green goes down you guys are in trouble. Just like we have to admit if Gage goes down we are..... well it is not the same. Our receivers suck equally.

If Green goes down we are back where we were last season. We had no running game last year but unlike some teams we have a QB and some WRs that can move the ball when the RBs can't.

Overalls - uh, no. Chris Brown actually plays very well when healthy. Ahman Green is average regardless if he's hurt or not.

So you are saying that since Green has almost twice as many rushing TDs since Brown came into the league and since he has almost twice as many yards since Brown came into the league he is not as good as Brown. Green has had 5 seasons with over 1100 yards rushing. Watch football much?

So what is everyone's predcition on steve slaton? Green won't stay healthy long so slaton is going to play a lot. Will he deliver the goods with a solid 4 yard average or higher? Can he stay healthy?

He looks good actually. Doesn't he have turf toe? That can be dicey.

If Green goes down, I think they will try to go with Taylor for the bulk of the carries and use Slaton as a change of pace back. I am not sold on Taylor but I trust Kubes and Smith. Slaton is fast but is a little guy so his staying healthy is a concern. The coaches are also concerned about his ability to pick up the blitz. So far he has blocked better than I expected but it was only preseason. As titanbuoy said he does have a turf toe and that can be an issue that last a long time but with our blocking sceme he isn't expected to do a lot of cutting. Theoretically it is one cut and gone. If Slaton plays he wont have a problem averaging 4 yards a carry or better.
