    Yep Nielsen ratings is a large way and I don’t think it’s accurate. I have to imagine that satellite subscribers can probably be monitored for ratings purposes and same with cable but I don’t know that it actually used.
    I know this sounds lame, but I just use antenna. It’s free and HD and I get all the main channels so I know they can’t calculate my scenario into ratings.

    A long time ago I do remember having the journal thing. I was probably 10-11, so around 93-ish and we (as a family) we’re not even close to accurate if anything was really written down at all.
    There was zero payment for it so the incentive to bother wasn’t really there either.
