Difference between 9 and 16 is 7 players. Is it huge? Well probably depends on who is picked before us.

I find it interesting that you said we might end up with a "Derrick Morgan" pick when you could've just as easily said a "Kendall Wright" pick considering Kendall was picked a full 4 spots after Derrick Morgan. I just don't get the obsession with a top 10 pick when our 20th pick is outperforming everyone we've picked in "better"spots than him including our 2 top 10 picks. Hell CJ's had arguably the best career out of any Titan in the last 10 years and we got him with the 24th pick. If we were in contention for a top 5 pick I might consider it more but to me there is very little difference in the caliber of a player drafted 10th as supposed to 25th. I'd rather watch us win our last game and continue to at least try to build for next year.

Furthermore, Kendall Wright has outperformed the two WRs taken ahead of him.

winning this game has little or nothing to do with winning next year. I will take the higher pick but if we win, we win! This is out of all of our control so I am just gonna roll with what happens. I am not sweating either way win or lose. This team took all my emotion out weeks ago when we lost to jax at home, hasn't been the same since.

IT DOESN'T MATTER NEARLY AS MUCH WHEN WE PICK, AS IT DOES WHO WE PICK.

By cheering for the Titans this Sunday you are cheering for Munchak to keep his job. Just remember that.

Are you really a Munchak supporter?

This FO has proved that if they really want someone they will find a way to get them. So 7 players out of "32", which is really an arbitrary number when you think of it, isn't that much to me.

Now I'm not saying if we lose I'm gonna flip or be upset or whatever. I don't care either way. I would rather see the team win just because it's fun and what not. I wouldn't go out of my way to root for their lose is all.

With the new rookie contracts, RBs decreased value, QBs being difficult to correctly scout (I guess?), the draft pick number doesn't hold much weight to me anymore.

Don't get me wrong, the draft is an excellent tool and can be used to really help a team but there are like two FOs that know how to do that and our FO isn't terribly bad at it.

    *sigh* seriously with this again?

    7 picks could be anything

    7 guys we don't want
    7 busts
    7 guys we wanted
the guy we really want could be a bust
the guy we end up picking could be an all-star

there is absolutely no reason to tank. It has proven to not to work, bad teams mostly stay bad with high picks.

Especially when, of those 7 players, at most there are probably 2 we would be interested in.

Be that as it may. Come Sunday when the Titans win there will be people here ready to hang themselves because of the loss of draft position. Or freaking out like it is the end of the world.

I just do not see one game making that big a difference.
