Earlier this season, we attempted a surprise onside against the Raiders and were rode hard for it. Rich Eisen spent 15 minutes to open up his show on Monday about how dumb it was. NBC and ESPN both had articles up by the next quarter questioning it. Every sports recap show in the land mocked it.

All of these same outlets had praised the Colts awareness for recovering numerous surprise onside kicks in the same manner over the last couple season, at least 2 of them against the Titans. They had also praised Jack Del Rio and the Raiders for their guts and nerve for gambling, most notably in going for 2 on the final play of a game when the XP would've sent them to OT.

Well, today Jack Del Rio and the Raiders failed on a fake punt on 4th and 11 from their own 30 in the 3rd quarter. I'm still waiting on all of the press from everyone on how ignorant and clueless Jack Del Rio and the Raiders are ... I'll be sure to post the mockery here when they inevitably get posted, because surely they will be publicly mocked and ridiculed for such ignorance.
