You win with better players in the NFL, not illusions. Creative play calling will do nothing in the playoffs.

I know everyone here praises BB, but NE has won 1 SB since the best QBs in the league were McNabb, Pennington, etc. And we know how good their play design is.

 

Or as long as we can play the tarpkitties.

 

Lewan needs to be reigned in. Mularkey giving him a verbal scorning is a good thing.

 

After the Colts loss I think he realized he was tired of this BS. The players looked a ton better Thursday. Notice everyone helping each other up? Mularkey getting on people, Lewan and even Succop. Quotes in the locker room with players saying they aren't happy being at .500. They are getting fired up. One pundit told me while discussing Mularkey staying that they like him and play hard for him. Just on that alone he stays in my opinion. Coached a good game Thursday. Got lit up when need be. Patted backs when needed. So far, so good. Now if we can only get out of these predictable formations.

 

Sometimes easier said than done. The next few weeks will be very telling.

Mularkey 4-4, and has beaten the two coaches most on this forum wanted the Titans to hire. Doesn't seem to be the worst decision to give him the job in hindsight. If he wasn't the head coach, the Titans most likely couldn't have kept Lebeau, or gotten Grimm as the oline coach. The ability to get Grimm on board to fix the oline has been the big difference maker on this team IMO.
