I got some Titans fans triggered on Reddit saying this. They just say he chucks the ball up to Deandre every play. Believe what you want bruhs, but that don't make it true.

Brilliant passes my ass. Fuller and Hop had to get over defenders to get those catches that any Titans WR arent capable of making.

Majority of the stats came when games were outta-hand aka 2015 Blake Bortles. The guy will be a managing QB at best. Since his not a total drunk like Bortles and has a “QB whisperer” of a coach that knows how to utiliaze his skill-set he will have a decent career.

i love Deshaun Watson, but he has way more targets on offense, and a wayyyyyyyyyyy more modern offensive system. the kid's good but i still don't think he's on the same level of Mariota/Winston/Carr/Wentz

Everyone was saying the same about Prescott last year, both are good QBs but wait.

The only constant is that the Browns are stupid.

Will MM8 ever get a real coaching staff here in TN? Robiskie and his dinosaur offense holding everyone back and wasting away talent. MM8 leave and go to a real coach and he'd light it up. Watson, Wentz, Prescott, Goff, Carr, Winston are all in a place setup for them to win; good defenses, good weapons and WAY BETTER coaches.

I think this is more true than most of us want to believe. However at this time in his progression, that's not a bad thing. I'd love for him to get to the "managing" stage of his progression soon, then see if he can take the next step.

Most young QBs never make it to that stage. They can't get past the "reacting" stage, waiting for the game to slow down.

Everybody is going off about Watson. MM8 did the same thing until defenses figured him out. He threw 4tds in a couple of games last yr in this very limited pass offense; & 3tds in more. He had a couple of TDs in several games. Think about that. In a VERY limited passing offense; MM8 threw for 26Tds last yr.
Watson is getting almost twice as many chances to throw the ball. Once defenses figure him out he will come back to Earth like all decent rookies do. Marcus may not ever be elite in this offense. I am not sure ANY QB would be here. The HC limits the QB too much for him to be able to get a real rhythm going with his WRs.

Marcus has not been as good this year coming back from a broken leg. Hopefully that improves. However, unless this offense changes dramatically we will not be seeing great QB #s out of this offense. Mularkey has openly said he wants to keep passing attempts to 20-25 a game.

I'm asking because I don't know. Does MM8 have the ability to audible at the LOS, or does he have predefined checks, or does he run whatever play they call?

Mularkey said Marcus has predefined checks at the start of the year. He also said, they (The Coaches) have studied opponents thoroughly; & Marcus checking out of the called plays would be a rare thing. IIRC.

This year he's been given the freedom to check out of any plays he wants

Last year he went into a play with 2 plays to pick, now he's doing anything he wants
