Losing 1 game vs a key injury that could cost us more isn't worth it. If we lose week 1, it won't be because they didn't tough it out in PS3.

observations; more of the same i'm afraid when it comes to the .500 titans the offensive live will be patch job the d-line will not really pressure the opposing QB which will expose the always Titans Weakness- that dreadful secondary going to be a busy day to for Kern the titan punter

 

Not in the preseason it isn’t—these games are meaningless. He did the right thing. He did what most teams across the league are doing.

 

They will be ready for week one—they are professionals. They hate preseason and it showed.

 

Uh...he missed his first throw a bit high and the next two were drops by the we. That is not a sound critique.

 

You must be an "Old Timer" like myself.
I to put little to no stock on preseason games (injuries is a different stratosphere).

This preseason game reminded me of another preseason game between two rival's the broncos vs the l.a. raiders. Raiders won that preseason game but man did the broncos starters look dominant.
During the regular season that same dominance showed up again to the tune of the raiders sweeping the broncos that year and making it to the playoffs ... But hey at least the broncos starters looked dominant during that ever important preseason game ...

 

Ok we get it Steelers had a game plan and played their guys for 3 quarters.

However our issues still show.

-We have 0 pass rush so far yea sure wake and Laudry have not played alot but our depth doesn't look good at that position.

-dropping passes

-Oline takes forever to get going they always start the game super slow.

 

Absolutely true, but just like last preseason game... Even at his best, his passing isnt much better than fair. It is an extreme rarity for him to place a ball where a receiver not only gets an easy catch, but actually can turn upfield after making it. Usually they are dropping down, or jumping up, or turning back. That is definitely an advantage Tannehill has, almost every completion he had last night and in the previous games, the receiver is able to get some forward progress after making the catch, even if falling forward. With Mariota, they are usually falling or dropping or getting hit where their hands touch the ball.
