I'm convinced VY is no good. Let him finish out the season as the starter cuz kc is even more worthless to start. The dude still only completes hook routes and checkdowns vs soft defenses. I'll bump this post at the end of the season when vy has gone 2500 15-11 in his 5th year and let's see if he's still the franchise guy.

and have him blocking James Harrison no less.

honsetly the VY benching doesn't bother me as much IF it was for the right reason. If the hit shook VY, and Fisher wanted to protect him in a game that looked out of control, I don't mind it. But if it was because VY was playing poorly and he thought kerry could get it done, fire Fisher ASAP.

Offensive game plan was pathetic...execution of it was even more pathetic...oh..

    Fire Alan Lowry....

Games like this make me seriously concerned about VY. But man, if we ever want to find out if he can take the next step or not we need to put all our faith into him and see what happens. Not yank him after 3 bad quarters in the second game of the season. We were down 10 measly points and Fish pulls him in favor of the human statue. One thing you can't deny about VY is that he is a playmaker (regardless of consistency issues). Who knows... maybe he could've pulled out a W today. Of course we'll never know.

Fisher was not the problem today...

2 INT'S and a fumble doesn't warrant a benching? Not to mention the fact that he couldn't move the offense AT ALL.

I'm aware that Collins played just as poorly, however, once Fisher took Vince out, he put his faith in Collins. That is his problem. A change of pace was needed. It was the right call, IMO.

You know what sucks? I turn on the Patriots/Jets game and the FIRST play of the game I see more creativity than Fisher has used all game.

Most coaches would be overjoyed thinking of all the beautiful things they could do with the combination of VY and CJ...

Fisher does what he would with Kevin Faulk and Tim Couch.

Watching the Chargers vs the Chiefs the other night it was insane how much attention the Chiefs had to pay to Antonio Gates simply due to the matchup problems he causes... yet Fisher leaves a guy like Jared Cook on the bench because he can't block?... He'd open the field which is just as good as blocking, and he has the added threat of going long... something our other TEs dont.

Fisher's 1950s style coaching kills us. It will always kill us as it always has. Thus the reason I try to enjoy the seasons but I have ZERO hopes for this team as long as Fisher is the HC. They could go 16-0 and Fisher's conservative style would have them lose in the playoffs.

It was and it was the right call. I don't get the VY homers. You act like Vince was just on the verge of exploding offensively then we yanked him. No, Vince was God awful and we were doing nothing on offense. Hate to break it to you but Young isn't that much better than Collins and on any given day he can be better, sometimes a lot better than Young.

It is true. The way we play ball never wins championships. We never have had true consistency either. I feel like every time we do good it is because of our schedule or flukes.

Like for instance, the one upside we have to think about is our defense after today. But let's break it down.

3rd string quarterback, 2nd string quarterback, two missing o-line.

My god, if Ben had started...
