    :ha: you're a funny guy.

I quit watching it after the 3-year hiatus/actor's hissyfit. I was glued until then.

After the initial WTF reaction, I think the ending was great.

I LOVED the ending. Weren't you tense while Tony was in the diner. Didn't you keep thinking he was gonna get it everytime the door opened.

After watching the ending again on InDemand, I think it was a dream sequence. Remember, he walks in and is looking around then it quickly cuts to him sitting down. And, Carmela is talking so nonchalantly about Meadow getting birth control. Now way, because Carmela is a DEVOUT Catholic who wouldn't be talking so open with Tony about Meadow's sex life.

I think creatively, it would have been too predictable for Tony to get capped.

I dont think it was a dream sequence, I think it was just a reflection on Tony's life. Not knowing who is out to hurt you and things like that. And I have never heard Tony referred to as a devout catholic. He kills, steals, cheats on his wife, etc. But, the thing about the scene is you can interpet it as you like.

It would also be hard to have a Sopranos movie if Tony had been capped  (or maybe I'm being cynical thinking that there will be a Sopranos movie made)

No, she said CARMELLA was a devout Catholic.
