Something to keep in mind...

good pass rush good secondary. You can only stick with a guy for so long no matter how good you are. GB secondary while they are good they have a dominant front 7 that makes them look much better.

Pitt has an average secondary but they have a dominant pass rush so they look good. It doesn't work the other way around though.

 

so.. what would y'alls reaction be if arizona/buffalo/niners pick up both Newton and Gabbert... wonder where that would leave us..

 

with a spot to land defensive talent that would of been top 5 lol

that leaves one of these men....fairley, bowers, peterson, miller, prince, dareus,

aj on offense

gives us plenty of options which would all be upgrades but i dont think we need to give up anything to trade up
