Skip Bayless: I would take Bortles over Mariota

    Brady lover Skip Bayless just said he would take Bortles over Mariota. Says Mariota has 0 feel for the game and is just a good athlete playing QB. Also says Mariota's QBR is "sliding way down" even though he was 13th this year. Shannon Sharpe joked he would rather play without a QB than play with either of them.



    I know it won't happen, but I wish more than anything we win this weekend. The constant hate and disrespect we have gotten this whole year is ridiculous and this is just another example.

    Does Skip want to ignore Mariota's 94 passer rating in the first two years and how he has outplayed his boy turnover Jameis? And how even in this awful year where he was banged up he had a better QBR than Jameis?

    I can't possibly say this enough, please, please for the love of sports stop quoting skip bayless, stop referencing him, stop listening and stop watching.

    He is everything that is awful in sports "coverage" today and really really needs to go away.

    The fact he's teamed with mush-mouth cannot possibly allow that show to be tolerable.

    0 feel for the game eh? Feel is why for three quarters he orchestrated a 19 point come back versus the chiefs to upset them in the wild card. Feel for the game and what needs to be done and what should be done caused him and the offense to behave in the way they did to bring about their success.

    You can’t be a clutch performer and have 0 feel for the game simultaneously. To me it’s just not possible.
