Six Titans Voted to NFL Pro Bowl

SUMMARY: The NFL announced the players named to the Pro Bowl and six members of the Tennessee Titans will take part in this year's event. Albert Haynesworth will appear in his second-consecutive Pro Bowl. This one guarantees he’ll be an unrestricted free agent after the season as it meets one of the incentives of his franchise agreement. Cortland Finnegan and Chris Hope both will appear in their first Pro Bowl as will Chris Johnson and Michael Roos. Kevin Mawae returns to the Pro Bowl for the seventh time in his 14-year career.

Titansonline says that Johnson, Hope, and Roos are reserves. Does that mean that they only go if starters get injured, or is only one player per position per conference designated "starter". If they're all in, great for them.

All six are actually going. Wouldn't be surprised if we get a couple more invited due to injury of the duly elected.

How on earth did Jason Peters get voted in ahead of Roos? I listen to Buffalo sports talk radio on my morning commute and all the guys ever talk about is how Peters held out this summer and how he has been awful all season.

 

Joe Thomas hasn't been lights out either.

Roos just doesn't have the high draft pick status, or the ESPN hype.

 

Congrats to all 6 titans but for a team that is 12-2 6 doesnt sound like a whole lot... wheres Keith Bullock and Rob Bironis???
