AAhhhhh....here we go again. Handing over the QB position to Vince Young again. Signing Simms would've done two things; put more pressure on VY to shape up, and two he would've been an insurance policy if VY gives up.

Now, we're back to square one. VY essentially has been "Given" the backup job, without competition and a fight. Now he's probably going to decide to go back to Austin for the offseason and do his own thing again. DAMN!

Just because Simms signed elsewhere doesn't mean we won't bring someone in.

I think this is a really interesting development. It sure appears that they are setting things up to work Vince back in- or at least set him up for a real opportunity to show something at TC.

Has anybody heard if he is going to be in Austin or Nashville this Spring?

now lets try to get their QB to be our guy for a decade or so since he wants out...okay enough wishful thinking, but that would be nice - and Hakeem Nicks could be his B.Marshall in TN :)

This is the perfect excuse to draft a QB. So far, this is MR's best move yet.

^I was thinking the same. Sort of like why we don't want to just run out and get a 2 immediate impact WRs in 1 season. It deflates the morale of 2 guys we already have.
This may hurt Vince's feelings a bit, but drafting a guy that can sit, fill a needed position on the depth chart, and maybe eventually become a starter? With no pressure on anyone...pretty smart. If that's the intent.

lol what QB will be left by the time we pick? whats worse than making the playoffs and not winning the SB? picking late in the draft!

Lets hope so. Hopefully at some point in the draft.
