If hes half as good as advertised, he can easily destroy our interior Oline in practice, acl or no.

I would rather save him for the playoffs, if we make it. Give him plenty of time to fully heal, not only physically, but mentally as well. Sometimes getting over the mental aspect is harder than the physical.

I would imagine the coaching staff learned their lesson on rushing back players from ACLs... Conklin was back Week 3....

The issue at hand? Never was so much chatter and discussion put out about Conklin being "ahead of schedule" - or "way, way better in his recovery process than we expected"....... the last 2 months or so has been riddled with these statements about Jeff's recovery....

Every single person in the world's body composition is entirely different from EVERYONE elses, so a huge part of it is diet and anatomy --- and then a small amount of luck.

If they let him play, he needs to be getting thorough hands-on check outs after each series.

Re-injuries don't ease up on a person- ligaments snap SUDDENLY. There might be some inflammation, but there is no rushing complete healing in areas with very little blood supply. The range of complete healing is in months to half years in people.

IF he comes back to play- it should be for very limited number of snaps each game, advancing those snaps MONTH by month (every 3 or 4 games)- not each game/week.

I dunno. You'd think they've learned lessons like dion Lewis sucks, but yet he's still getting touches.

How does nobody else understand this lol. He wasn't in NFL shape to begin with, now hes supposed to magically just get in the best shape of his life coming off ACL rehab? He shouldn't play this season regardless of record.

    Mental part is the hardest

As for bringing him along for playoffs, this is how you do that. Sprinkle him in now so by playoffs hes actually able to contribute the way we need him to.

Think of weeks 8-12 as his preseason

My thoughts exactly - constant monitoring and evaluation, even during game.
