The 9ers are trying to get him some help. He got thrown to the wolves pretty quickly last season. The 9er fans were all up in arm throwing Chardonnay at the players and stuff.

It's a terrible day when 9er fans can not drink there wine and eat there cheese and crackers. :sad2:

The harshest criticism I have heard of Young so far is the question “is he another M Vick or Cordell Stewart?”. Does he have what no other QB really has in the ability to run and throw on a consistent basics. QBs who run all of the time end up hurt. Montana , Steve Young, Cunningham, McNair even. The difference between the mediocre and the great is the ability to know when not to run.

This comes back to the how soon should Young play. If you send him to the wolves he is going to run first pass later.

Sign him and lets see what he can do but I am a little nervous of our protégée. Running QBs in college are not facing the speed they do in the NFL or the awareness on the field that the defensive players have.

Sheeze I am kinda hoping VY is gobs better than MVick and the Cryin' Man. They are both terrible pocket QBs.

I was saying both players were crap not that they were the ends of the spectrum. I probably should have explained that a little better.

I really just said the remark to see what the barometer was on VY. Allot of my non-Titan fan friends have made remark about the same what I said comparing him to Cordell or Vick.
