Not saying he isn't a great quarterback, but STILL you have to have guys who get seperation and catch the ball. Maybe you want to go back and see how Peyton did once Dallas Clark went out.....:wink2:

Look how this worked for us last year. We picked up the best veteran WR out there.

There's nothing wrong with our receievers at the moment. If Britt goes down, we'll have to sign someone though.

I agree with Ravenshallburn. I think we're solid at WR. I'm ready to see Williams and Hawkins get more burn in this offense and make some plays.

Gilyard is horrible, do not want. I watch all the Rams game and go to Rams camp, they're my hometown team and probably my favorite NFC team. Gilyard couldn't even learn the Rams playbook after a year and was extremly lazy. He's a waste of space.

I don't get the "sign a vet" mindset. Look at the vet WRs we signed, and how they've worked out. Randy Moss, Eric Moulds, Justin McCariens... they all stunk.

Why sign a guy who's going to play for a year or two? Lets see if Damian, Hawk, or Mariani can produce with Britt.

He did great like it doesn't matter. There was no difference. Clark's backup Jacob Tamme had the exact same type of stats that Clark would have had. Over 60 catches for over 600 yards.

Who could we pick up right now, or even a few weeks ago, that would have been that much different than Gage? Agree with most of the posts above. Its a rebuilding season, lets get our questions answered this season so we do not have to answer them next season.

I hear Kevin Dyson is available.:grrhee:
I rather develop the young guys we have. Also if you think about it Curtis is the so called vet. Already injured. We have bad luck with signed vets.

All started with Pickens back in 2000

Peyton had 14 tds to 2 ints before Clark and 20 tds to 15 ints AFTER Clark went out. Clark apparently didn't have an impact.......... :suspect:
