Although I don't think it should be retired I just couldn't imagine anyone else wearing that number for us.

Agree with Hoffa. I am as big an EG fan as they come. I even liked post toe EG as a full time starter. EG only got 3.1 ypc but he did not make negative plays and set up McMVP for third and makable unless Twitch or Hopkins jumped - which they seemed to do to kill every drive.

No. He's not officially retired from the NFL yet, is he? On a side note, yes, Eddie was a great player...but the only Jersey I see getting retired is McNair's

 

If his number isn't retired, which i don't think it will or should, it probably won't be used for the next 10 years or until Fisher is a victim of regicide.:banned:
