Rumor Should the Titans Reach Out To Freeman?

    With Jake Locker nursing his injury and the uncertainty of Rusty Smith to backup Fitzpatrick, the Titans could make this move.

    I don't like it at the present time, and think the Titans are in good shape even with a hungry Rusty Smith who really wants to prove that he belongs on the Titans 53 man roster, saving money toward our 2014 cap position is very important at ths time, especially if we have a BIG year in 2013.

    Freeman wouldnt cost much at all and its really a no risk move. It doesnt bother me in the least. It actually shows the FO is still trying to improve. I dont see how it would hurt our cap.

    No downside.

    I've heard no report that we're looking into signing him, and I doubt we will.

    -He believes he is starting material, so he'll go somewhere he can become the starter soon.
    -He'll want a starter's contract, with starting QB pay (or close to it)
    -He has a bad attitude, and could be a locker room cancer.
    -We have a quality backup in Fitzmagic.
    -QB controversy is a bad thing, which Freeman would bring.

    We don't need this clown.

    Thank God. Didn't want him anywhere near this team. No matter who ends up being Fitzpatrick's backup, the end result would be the same if they end up with playing time. Wasted season. Jmo of course.
