Should Josh Kline replace Warmack?

Good gosh...we just had the draft, and we are picking up more linemen. First Kelly, now another. Good thing they have names on the uniforms.

 

Sounds like Kline will start this weekend

 

It was a matter of time. A starter on the Patriots O'line last season should be good enough to start on ours...

Kline got the majority of the reps at RG today. Schwenke got some reps as well. Mularkey says a decision will be made on Friday. Sure sounds like Kline though.

 

I'd expect it to be Kline. God would it be amazing if he came in and it was an improvement. At least it's at the one OL position where that's actually a possibility.

 

Hope Tretola keeps improving so if Kline's a bum , we can plug him in without jeopardizing Marcus's life. I like Tretola's nastiness and push in the run game.

 

Is he that bad? Is he better run block or pass protect? It's crazy how we're saying this guy may be an improvement over a top ten pick in Warmack that has been super durable up until now. I mean at least Jonathan cooper has injury as an excuse. How is Warmack so bad? Unbelievable

 

Tretolas name hasn't even been mentioned as being in the mix. He has no shot at playing unless there is no one else to play there. He's a project OL that might get a shot in a few years...too much hype around here.

PS- I'd take Tretola over Schwenke...but obviously the coaching staff think Schwenke is better since he's mentioned and would likely be going in if they hadn't picked up Kline.

 

Agreed. Love Tretola's attitude and upside, but their main objective is to protective Mariota. What is Tretola's weak point? Pass protection......
