On one hand there simply seems to be no good excuse when you have all that talent on the offensive side and they can't get past the 50 yardline. You could blame the running game, but this is the same team that shipped off their best running back and pro bowl lineman 2 days before the start of the season..

On the other hand, the defense seems to be finally getting somewhere under Zimmer.. if there is any life left in the offense after Palmer gets healthy they might finally have some balance..

It only looks to get uglier for the rest of the season..
    Fire Marvin?

Of course you fire Lewis. The team doesn't look like they want to play that hard IMO. Plus they've really never been good under him save for one year.

Of cpurse. He's had a ton of talent, and has never done anything with it. He panders too much to CJ and has gotten nothing done.

I think the Problem is Palmer.

Get a QB that has the "it" factor and the Bengals would be good.

your Qb can bring down the whole team or lift the whole team. im not on the field or the locker room but im willing to bet Palmer is not trying to pump up this team or himself.

When all that thug stuff started a couple of season's back, Lewis lost the team. I don't think he's been effective since. But a lot of it is like the Raiders in that the ownership is clueless.

C'mon, Carson's been the only constant on that team. They gave away Rudi and their All-Bengals LT right before the season opener, terrible. The problem couldn't possibly be Chad Johnson, the biggest mouth in the league, he' a cancer, and now he doesn't even produce on the field, so what good is he? Pay TJ, trade CJ for anything and move on. The sooner CHaz is gone, the quicker the Bengals will get better.

fire him. he's supposed to be a Defensive Coordinator, not a head coach. He's not exactly surrounded with the defensive talent that the team needs, furthermore, their offense should be one of the best in the league, yet they fall short every year...

    its an interesting situation.....

As long as Mike Brown is the owner/GM, it doesn't matter who the coach is. He has no clue.
