Sharif don't like it

 

We have to keep things in perspective. He did what he did against guys that wont be on a NFL team in 3 weeks.

 

Look at this awesome play of him....getting pushed by the QB.



And he did all that against Byron Bell. We should know as best as anyone that Byron Bell is terrible.

 

Does this need to be stated repeatedly? Is anyone really oblivious or new enough to the sport to not already know this?

He's an undrafted free agent...and a rookie on top of that. Bell may suck , but he should be expected to hold his own against that type of competition. He did not on many plays.

 

I want to see him get reps on the 1st team.

 

Bell has seen a lot of first team reps in the league. He sucks, but the fact that he's always in demand says a lot about the state of backup OL and many starting OL in general. He's not likely to be out of the league in 3 weeks as you suggested. Finch is obviously not going to beat Lane Johnson, but there will be many linemen on rosters who are just as bad as Bell

 

You do realize that he was most likely supposed to take the Tackle deep to open up for the blitzing linebackers? It’s defense 101.

That said I didn’t watch the game so have no clue if he is good or not.

 

I do understand that.

In either instance, it was not a highlight play.
