On a good day and against a bad defense.

Here's the thing. I've been hearing ESPN bash the Tebow haters all year long and here's my response to that. Nobody actually hates Tebow, he seems like a good kid, good college QB, but he's highly overrated. It's not his fault he's overrated it's the media who pumps him up beyond belief. Here's some things I've actually heard people on ESPN say about Tebow.

- I'd take him #1 overall in the NFL draft if I was Detroit.
- If we had an all time college player draft to build the all time great college team, I'd take Tebow #1.
- If you spend just 10 minutes with Tebow your life will be better for it.
- People who hate Tebow are just haters who can't appreciate a great player.
- If Tebow wins a 2nd Heisman and a 3rd National Championship is he the greatest college player ever?

And it goes on.

With further investigation what has Tebow done that McCoy hasn't? First off ignore the first Gators title because Tebow was the backup. Tebow won a Heisman yes but if Dixon doesn't get hurt that year Tebow comes in second place no debate about that, same play McCoy went (and McCoy still has a shot to win one). Tebow won a BCS title as a starter with 1 loss, McCoy never got a shot to win the title because of the stupid BCS even though his team only lost 1 game and like Florida beat Oklahoma (and McCoy still has a shot to win one as a starter, AND McCoy has NEVER lost a bowl game as a starter, Tebow has lost 1.

YET Tebow is treated like the greatest thing ever and people wonder why we dislike him. Overrated as a passing QB, he was all but deemed the best player ever before his final 2 games and you got a guy in Austin who is doing pretty much the same thing. So please ESPN, stop telling us who to root for because now you look like idiots and the Tebow doubters win in the end.

 

But the Big 11 is? You sound bitter, Mr. Sour Grapes.

 

So glad gators got beat down, a lot of guys at work had their gator gear on all week saying the gators could never lose to Bama. lmao,, i sent them all text messages laughing but none of them is answering back. lol

 

Yea I disagree, I think Alabama is REALLY good. I've always been a McElroy fan and he picked a great day to have his best game ever.

Who said the Big 10 is good? Ohhhhh... because I say one team isn't that great, it becomes some sort of 3rd grade "oh yeah! Well my dad can beat up your dad!" fight, right?

Alabama played like a top 5 team ONCE in the past 5 weeks (excluding the Chattanooga game, of course). Once.

And in 2 of those games they were bailed out by refs. No ifs ands or buts. CLEARLY bailed out. With multiple phantom calls on the last drives. Those being vs very average teams.


They better show up like they did for TWO weeks this entire season in the NC game, or else they'll be embarrassed. They've been impressive in 2 games all season long. 2.

They're undefeated. That's all that matters, but they've had a butt load of help.
Truth is- they hadn't even shown themselves worthy of a top 5 ranking until last night.
