Ryan Fitzpatrick released

The reason people say locker is injury prone is because he is. Look it up, this guy gets hur all.the time. Not just in the nfl, but also in high school. He is an exceptional athlete, a good character guy and the ability to be a good qb in the nfl. If locker plays all season and we go to the playoffs and lose early, we are still screwed with him on the roster. He will never be a guy who can play 14 or 15 games a year for 10 straighy years. Over that time frame we would be lucky for him to play 120 games. We should draft a qb and wash our hands of this bad decision. I wish he was the guy and I backed him up until now, I'm done with thinking our backup qb actually matters.

 

Jake had an offense and Fitzy ran a different style of offense. That says all I need to know. Whitehurst fits and knows what Whisenhunt wants. I know a lot here dont wanna hear this, but had the Titans stayed the offensive course they were on with Jake, the team probably is more like 9-7. Won 1 game in "Fitzys offense " The last two games we won went back to more of what the team was built for in the first place and we won. We wont have that issue this season at least.

 

I'm not sure why you say this because we already had these situations come up and Fitzy proved he couldn't do it. We were on a winning streak and needed Fitz to win against the Chiefs and he threw the pick that lost the game. We had a shot to knock off the Colts on Monday Night Football and Fitzy couldn't get it done (wasn't all his fault). The only games he won were meaningless games against bad teams. So why exactly should I feel better about Fitz in there over Whitehurst when I've already seen that Fitz can't do it? Whitehurst is more of an unknown commodity than Fitz. He might turn out to be worse than Fitz but he also might turn out to be better.

Looks like Fitzy has a job interview today in Houston, hope he shaved. I would love the chance to see that guy twice a year.
