Typical smokescreen techniques from the Texans. You can believe too much of what is being said right now. The Texans as well as all other teams (Reese is one of the best) choosing early in the first round will hold their cards close to their vest while putting up various smokescreens.

IMO if Young declares there will be a revolt in Texas if the Texans do not draft the home-state boy (Vince Young).

 

Fisher a top 5 coach?

His team is 9-24 in his last 33 games. Nobody better tell me that this was a disciplined well coached team this year either.

I still like fisher for this team and understand why he is in demand. GMs want to know what they are getting and he has won in the past. But knock it off with the jeff fisher is a great coach crap. This guy is supposed to be a top defensive mind and look what our defense has done the last several years.

Fisher says he is mad about this season and wants to fix things here. Well lets see if he can. Another 4-12 5-11 type season and he is gone!

Reese is one of the best choosing in the first rd? Like mister attitude problem at CB? How about andre woolfolk? Great pick? How about kevin dyson? Stud? Even good picks like haynesworth have hardly set the world on fire. I'm not saying that reese sucks with his first rd picks but he is no more successful than anyone else.

Reese shines more in the middle rounds with picks like mason, mccareins and he is good with undrafted free agents like volek and bennett. He has also been pretty good at getting other teams leftovers like KVB and thompson.

 

Fisher is a great coach and has won in the past. He also deserves to lead the team through the salary cap purge. The poor defense is not entirely Fisher's fault but rather more fault should lie in Jimmy S. Fisher can be faulted for not making a better hire, not doing something about Jimmy, or not taking over play calling at times.

 

So Schwartz holds the keys to Fisher's career as the Titan head coach?

 

I hope he stays in so I don't have to hear from all those homers that think he is the greatest QB to ever step on a field. Our message boards are starting to get like the Jags board when they got Matt Jones out of Arkansas. All the blind homers praising him like he can walk on water.
How can the same people that think we need to replace Carr think that we can trade him for a 1st round pick. If he is good we need to keep him and fill other holes, we have about 18. If he is bad how would some one give us a number one for him. Our team has four players that the other teams fans would take, Dunta, Andre, David and Dominick. Why replace one of the FEW players we have that is worth anything.
