Rule changes proposed for 2019

I dont care about any of those rule changes

1-2 changes might happen, league is always slowly evolving

 

League is trying to shorten games, not drag them out

 

That shaves of less than a minute tops

Reviewing everything would take 2-3 mins per review

 

This **** isn't hard.

Make every penalty reviewable. PI is reviewable in the CFL. Why shouldn't it be in the NFL? Of course, that would probably require a change in officiating. Penalties should be egregious enough that they basically call themselves.

Overtime should just be another quarter. Enough of this "first team to score a touchdown wins. A field goals means the other team gets a chance. If a turnover occurs it's sudden death." So stupid. Just play another 15 minutes. If it's still tied after 15 minutes then you guys done ****ed up and it ends in a tie.

Onside kicks should be easier, not harder. Put all 10 guys on one side of the field and have them run at each other full-speed, like they used to.

And for the love of ****, put advertisements on the jerseys and cut out the commercials. And these 30-second "breaks" with the split screen of guys standing around and a Natty Light commercial count as ****ing commercials, NFL.

 

mostly agree... except the jerseys .... no ads there. I alreay pay way to much to be advertised at anyways

 

Cut the commercial count in half.
Stop with the TV timeouts.
