Roy Williams still up for a trade?

    he's still on his rookie contract, so i would guess that would be something that needs to get done regardless.

    The reason they want to trade him is he is in the last year of his contract, and they know he doesnt want to be there. They are trying to get something for him while they still can

    If the front office believes they can sign him to an extension, I think this would be a FANTASTIC trade. Lock up a proven #1 for 6-7 years and don't have to worry about that need year after year like we have been.

    He's one of the few guys I would trade our 1st round pick for. If we thought we could get an extention, I'd say to go for it. Him, Gage (or Roydell Williams), and Crumpler could be a solid combination.

    I'll take him at 24 :yes: Not sure what his salary is, but I feel he's worth the long term investment.

    I did this on Madden (traded pick for RW) and it has worked out VERY well for the Titans :)
