    This from colleague Josh Cooper:

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger left a charitable mark in the Middle Tennessee community off the field in advance of Thursday night’s game against the Titans. The Ben Roethlisberger Foundation announced it would give a grant to the Millersville Police Department to start a K-9 unit. The Roethlisberger Foundation said it would supply grants to police and fire department K-9 units in the various road destinations for the Steelers this season.

“We are thankful for what The Ben Roethlisberger Foundation does to help smaller departments like ours,” Millersville Chief of Police Ronnie Williams said.

Actually, this is wrong. It was Michael Vick that donated to the K-9 unit, and Ruthlessraper donated rape kits to the department.
